Hey, Rac, no one is arguing that higher tariffs on imports and higher taxes on corporations affect the consumer in opposite directions. BOTH actions can result in higher costs for consumers.
The issue is the magnitude or breadth of impact.
It’s like the joke asking what the difference is between a drinking establishment and an elephant’s fart… the first is a bar-room and the second is a BARRROOOOMMM!
No, the argument from Democrats is that raising taxes on the rich does not affect the consumer yet they claim that tariffs do. That’s the argument not at what degree that it does, that makes no sense on respect to my point . You people on the left are always trying to change the subject or move the goalpost or talk about something that was not my point. That’s what you people on the left do. The left complains about Trump, raising the tariffs will affect the consumer yet they don’t have the same thought about raising taxes under the job creators and the rich people. That’s the point how many times do I have to reiterate that? Democrats rant about the rich paying their “fair share” is nonsensical and stupid. The left act like they’re rich are not gonna pass the tax phrases on the consumer which they will. So would it really is is a tax raise on the middle-class and poor.
