The images in this composite are from the monthly ShiftArt.com challenge. I thought I would use their photos to come up with something other than what I was going to submit. This month's challenge is zooming in.

It is real NT, Tegar a local cat would lay in a low spot on the soil and peek over the top of the grass to pounce on a squirrel that he could never catch. Squirrels enjoyed tormenting the slow overweight declawed cat.

Cute! Maybe address the green fur at top to keep the cat fully b&w, with those piercing blue eyes?

Another thought: would there be more impact if camera-left eye had no dragonfly?

No need for the 357 Jack. He is just a real lap cat.

In our last house we lived in, we had an indoor outdoor cat. She loved brings us live mice that she hunted. She had that look, see what I caught for you.

I got rid of most of the green, but I left a bit, just as “a reflection” from the grass. I will have to try the one eyed dragon less look.

I agree with Linda's reference to the left eye. The blurring does not give it a piercing look, It just makes that eye look as being blind.
