There's a lot of people seeing something I'm not. Need the colour one to 'explain' it to me, it just looks very busy to me.

To each his own, John. Thanks for taking a look.

Nice work but I would like to see the original version, if you could.

Doing some re-editing and thought this one might look good in b&w.

It doesn't because nothing looks better in B&W

First, I didn't say better, I said good. Second, everyone here already knows you don't like black and white in any shape or form. Does it make you feel good to keep knocking every b&w that comes along? You might consider doing what I do when an image I don't like comes along; I bypass it and move on. Or does it stroke your ego to think your opinion is better than anyone else? Most of the photography world disagrees with you, you know.

Unfortunately, I agree with John N. It is a very busy image, which is fine. But in monochrome it is hard to distinguish what is what. The colour would help to define what is tree, rock, etc.

I can see that. Thanks for the reasoning.

I have to agree here. I did feel there was a lot going on, so perhaps the color image would offer more definition. If you wanted to do other PP, perhaps adding selective color would build separation and drama. Just my 2 cents.
