First, I didn't say better, I said good. Second, everyone here already knows you don't like black and white in any shape or form. Does it make you feel good to keep knocking every b&w that comes along? You might consider doing what I do when an image I don't like comes along; I bypass it and move on. Or does it stroke your ego to think your opinion is better than anyone else? Most of the photography world disagrees with you, you know.
Unfortunately, I agree with John N. It is a very busy image, which is fine. But in monochrome it is hard to distinguish what is what. The colour would help to define what is tree, rock, etc.

I have to agree here. I did feel there was a lot going on, so perhaps the color image would offer more definition. If you wanted to do other PP, perhaps adding selective color would build separation and drama. Just my 2 cents.
