The car that pulled out from the rest area had been feeding it and that's likely why he did a little dance routine and didn't take off. I was standing next to my car with a 24-120 on a full-frame.

The only time I've fed animals was when a Canada Jay was raiding our table as we ate in Warm Springs. Used to be called Gray Jays until 2018.
