I am posting the PS CC workspace only.
Info on the setup:
Inside a coffee shop.
The young woman stands between two doors, the lights are turned off in both the main room and the background room.
Distance between camera and model: About six feet
Camera orientation: Portrait mode
Flash:
Brand: Metz
Adapter: Wong
The unit is attached to the camera, but the head is directed toward the ceiling (white).
The Wong adapter is amber, capped. The light effectively is from slightly above the lens, on the right.
I initially thought of using a black cloth background but then again since her hair is jet black I decided against it since I did not use any other light source or reflector.
I shot eight pictures, directing the model to change how she held herself, the position of her head and where she was to look. Of the eight two she had her eyes closed, one was slightly off focus. Of the five left, her looking straight into the camera was the best.
Information on the camera and settings will be posted below the image itself, in a separate post.
Post-processing was straight forward. The only issue was the skin and the tint. The model has an alabaster colored skin, which was difficult to match. Even as I post this, I am still not fully satisfied. I did not straighten the image, nor did I crop it. I did however enlarge it in order to print this as a 2*3 inches, 300 DPI.
The reddish ting on top of her hair is simply her hair highlight.
I wonder what I could do with an adequately equipped studio, as this is rather amateurish.

Please note that the camera did not register the flash as all is in manual mode, including the flash.
