Interesting find. It looks like a pile of discarded rental skis and boots. Maybe they are waiting for snow so they can start their own ski resort.

That's exactly what this stuff is. Since this is discarded equipment, I can't imagine any operating skiing facility being interested in it. I suspect that this pile of stuff is going to be there a long, long time.

I'm quite impressed for two reasons. One is that there is so much of it and the other is that it is all fairly organized.

Valid observations, Gary. I don't see any use for the boots, certainly not after being left outside for so long....mold and such. Maybe the skis could me marketed to a foreign operation...South America, Mexico...where inexpensive items like this would be welcome.

I've seen benches made from old skis.

Many older bindings will not be serviced at ski shops, especially those recalled (at least one maker put time limits on the recalls they had so many year after year issues. I know people who had replacements for recalled bindings recalled.

Boots unless really mistreated (leaving outside would count) can last a long time, so could have been used somewhere

Now that's a real creative thought. I can think of applications where the fence would be the primary focal point of interest. I ought to scurry back up there and buy all of those skis.

This is another great idea. It's not one I would have thought of since I'm not into woodworking. Benches...even chairs, like rockers...could be real conversation pieces.

This reminds me of the Chinese graveyards for bicycles.

You don't see the ski jump in the background. When winter hits he will make a mint.

I agree with Sippy and I add that it looks as if nothing has been stolen.
