What program do you use to batch convert .nef to .jpg. I don't have Adobe anymore.
The greater question is "why"? If you are not processing in software that recognizes Nikon raw files, just shoot in jpg. Is this a good idea? No. Note, Nikon offers a free program.
Based on your title and not your comment (really need to know the "why"), you are trying to lessen HD space. If this is the real question, there are several solutions.

I use ACDSee's Batch Tool.

OP I don't know if you get the answer or you don't. I haven't seen any reponses from you. Quite a few of us gave you answers. Some may be good, some may be wrong, some you may dislike but tell us please. I don't use NX Studio but I did the following just to try to give you an answer. I don't tell you to go ask Mr. Google. So please give us some feedback.
I downloaded the NX Studio from Nikon website. Installed it on my computer. Took the SD card out of my camera and I found 58 NEF files in it. I copied the NEF files to a folder called NEF in my Pictures folder. Then I created another folder called JPEG. I then opened NX Studio and in the File>Export menu I did this. And voila the JPEG are created from the NEF and put in the JPEG folder

Why not just answer the question he asked?

It was my understanding that Bridge is free. I don't use Bridge much so I can't give useful advice but I suspect it will need ACR to read a raw file and I don't know whether ACR will come with a Bridge download.
I also thought that Adobe offered dng conversion programs free to encourage people to use their format so maybe it could be used with Bridge? I don't use dng either except where I don't have a choice.
As far as what I use, I still use Adobe, LR and PS. Short money, big value (to me, anyway).

I much rather see the OP response and said why do you ask rather than simply walked away. I tried to help the OP. Sometimes not doing it well but I feel I deserve some response from the OP.
Are you expecting jpgs that would be the same as what you'd get from your camera? Those jpgs have had the Picture Control adjustments applied to them. The only software that can replicate those adjustments is Nikon's own proprietary software. Any other software will give you jpg versions of the raw files without any adjustments (unless you add your own adjustments to be batch processed).
The Nikon software will apply the Picture Control adjustments automatically to the raw files (if you want it to).

Gotta give the OP some time. Not all of us spend all day on UHH chatting. The OP posted at 7:45am (ET). Don't know where he lives but it's Friday, so he may be at work and won't be back until later in the day.

Maybe he was just trolling.

You have to be joking. Things aren't done that way here. And maybe he's a psychiatrist. They always answer a question with a question.
