Wow, why such a big deal.
I already said that I will post future pics. In
the right section

Beware the section police (as well as the typo police). They are always on the lookout to highlight other member's minor errors. It always makes them feel better about themselves.

I'm pretty sure it's ADMIN'S job to move topics to what they feel is the correct section IF they feel it's necessary.

Yeah. But most members are more interested in sharing photos, and less interested in studying rules and regulations! I've been here since 2017 and still make mistakes. But I'm a slow learner. Especially when the learning is of questionable worth.
An interesting post, Augie. I will echo, UTMike. Don't let the trolls bother you! They will if you let them!

I, too, will echo UTMike. Because I know him to be a gentleman. "Retired CPO" --who's better known in some circles as being essentially 'Cheepf' (and you can take that any way you like, preferably with a sneer on your visage as it's uttered)-- is, on the other hand, nothing of the kind, despite his lame admission that he's admittedly a "slow learner". Which --you may quickly learn-- makes 'slow learners' look light-speed fast. (We still buds, Cheepf?)

Okay, yeah, sure......... the Gallery section is allegedly all about *positive* vibes and crap like that, and anybody who posts there is sure to be addled (photographically or cognitively or might likely have a hip replacement scheduled for next month, which means that all they can do to get their ego stroked a bit is relegated to posting crap they shot ten years ago with their cell phone), but............

You got some work to do, maybe, but don't let that stop you. Rock on, UHH poster newbie!

This is the Gallery. It is a place to learn if people want to take advantage of it.

This section is for posting pictures you took. If you want to ask others to comment on your choice of subjects, composition, settings, show off your pictures to others, or ask for general critique, then please do so in the Photo Gallery section.

Too many people refuse to stay on topic and wonder why things go astray.

I guess you haven't seen Cloris Leachman as Nurse Diesel in the film High Anxiety from Mel Brooks.

Well, after seeing so many great pictures by members I finally decided to post some of my own.

Hope you will like them.

Augie

I like them. Very creative. I like the way you use existing elements to frame other elements. Not seen that done before. This may be your first posting here but I suspect this isn't your first rodeo.

Angie, you will find there are those here that like to dog pile onto others. I’ve been the recipient of a bunch. No matter what it is, everyone has been a beginner multiple times, even genius Albert Einstein. And he was a failure at a few things and even when he was older, some of his theories were proven wrong but he refused to accept it.

Some people think that their personal preference is always right and is the only right. There was that ostrich that had his head in the sand…

And not everyone sees the world the same way. Once I was at the Milwaukee Museum of Modern Arts and there was an empty acrylic box setting on a pedestal. I figured they were changing displays until I read the name of “Nothingness”. Yes, nothing was the exhibit. I’m a crappy artist but even I could do something like that! But I’m guessing there was at least one person that was able to contemplate nothing being in the box, even if it was the “artist “.

I can’t stand rap music but I recognize the fact that there are people who like it. So just do what makes you feel good and to hell with everyone else, myself included.
