Burlesque photo

One of my "hobbies" is to photograph Burlesque performances at The Blackhart of St. Paul, a local bar in St. Paul, Minnesota. The conditions are challenging as the lighting is very uneven with bright white hot spots and various dimly lit spots of different colored spotlights. I shoot with a Nikon Z6ii most of the time but this last session I shot with a Nikon ZF with a Nikon 24-70 S lens set to shutter priority,1/125 sec and various focal lengths. ISO set to 3200. Some processing with On1 Photo Raw 2024. Most of the photos aren't too bad but most are challenging given the lighting. I am attaching just one photo (ISO 3200, 1/125, f4, 70mm) from the latest performance and would appreciate any comments, criticism and advice regarding it. I should mention that these burlesque performances are put on by a group called Nudie Nubies which is an amateur burlesque organization honing the skills of new burlesque performers.
Thanks for any comments.

I still dont see what everyone likes about tattoos.
You repaint rooms in your house because you get tired of the color but you are stuck for ever with those tattoos.

Know a guy, he decided on what tat he wanted, had it drawn on paper. Then put it in his pocked and walked around with it for 2 years. after 2 years he decided he was tired of it, and didnt get the tat. kind of a cool idea.

now lets get to the photo. Just by looking at it, I can tell is is challenging to get everything right. The white lettering on the right and the dark black to the left. you still nailed it , looks good. ( except for her right hand and that may be she was moving it. At F4 it would have been in focus )

Thanks for your comments. Yes indeed, she was moving. That is another one of the challenges which makes these photos difficult.

Thank you Dave, you rekindled an old memory. We young 10th-grade car mod nerds went as a group to the Michigan State Fair the burlesque show furthered our education. Years later, I could have had an interesting PhD project in physics, "How do BQ dancers twirl one tassel clockwise and the other counterclockwise?"

The photo is workshop calendar quality indeed, revolutionizing the girly calendar by having a new girl for each week. The background is excellent, the colors crisp and contrasting, and tats in keeping with the Sunday school teacher theme. You truncated the legs properly.

Using the speed of 1/125 to stop motion ...great... any ISO noise can be taken care of by wonder of AI.

I can't keep a phone wallpaper I like for any time, much less fix on a tattoo for life. I like the old analogy that a tattoo on a pretty girl is like putting a bumper sticker on a Bently.
