We have a family of tree squirrels living next to our house. It has been an usually cold and very wet winter for our area here in Southern California. We leave goodies for the squirrels and they are thankful by showing their appreciation in posing for us as they eat.
I took these photos from inside my house shooting about 25 feet away through our back door window glass.
Equipment: Handheld - Nikon Z9, Nikkor Z 800mm PF, Nikkor Z 2x teleconvertor.

Nice, sharp images!
It was worth tracking you down to the Photo Gallery.

Thanks Bill. My old eyes put it in the wrong forum and I had to repost. Dummy me. LOL

Thanks Jederick. I was pleasantly surprised that there wasn't more fringing and light defraction given the parameters I was shooting at. Going to try some more from same spot today as there is heavy cloud cover and different lighting.
Love the squirrel shots Jim. I feed them every morning, bird seed and peanuts. I also made a feeder that I screw an ear of corn on that they love.
