The asylum success rate NOW is projected to be between 10-15% by most. I doubt Mayorkas would even dispute this number. Why do you continually discount and dismiss the harm Biden has imposed on the U.S. through his lack of enforcement on our southern border? Yes, congress should act. The house should have at least considered the senate bill and amended out the 5K a day number and inserted stronger security. Then the left couldn’t argue it’s the republicans fault even though their bill was a ploy to mitigate Biden’s terrible numbers on immigration. Admit it as much as you blow your “it’s congress” horn, you are in a small (and getting smaller) minority that doesn’t see or doesn’t want to acknowledge where the immediate problem and solution lies.
