White House weighing executive actions on the border — with immigration powers used by Trump

WASHINGTON (AP) — The White House is considering using provisions of federal immigration law repeatedly tapped by former President Donald Trump to unilaterally enact a sweeping crackdown at the southern border, according to three people familiar with the deliberations.

Biden has done nothing to stem the flow of illegals across our southern border but now, with an election year coming up, it looks like he might be getting serious about trying to do something. Actually, he has done something. He appointed Kamala Harris as his border Czar with orders to stem the migration to our southern border. How's that been going??

Yes, in the long run, but Biden did not have to change the policies and create the mess at the border we have now.
And in today's news it saws the White House is hinting strongly that it will reimpose some of Trumps policies on the bordr.

Hmm? Could 2024 being a Presidential election year have anything to do with that?
Esp since a lot of big city Dem mayors are starting to scream about the $$$$ and problems they are having with the illegals.
"Sanctuary City" doesn't seem to have the same ring it had before they actually got a lot of illegals in their cities.

How strange I never saw you post anything like this comment when the Left, you know, your side of the aisle, refused to do anything precisely because they did not want any Trump successes prior to the election. Even Nancy Pelosi said she refused to work with Trump. You remember, the same Nancy Pelosi who made big money doing her job to work with whatever POTUS was in office. Tell me I am wrong and you were right here in The Attic whining and bitching about the Left refusing to work with President Trump.

I have heard part of the Senate Bill was that 5000 illegal aliens a DAY would be allowed into America. Is that true? Surely you know that is still far more than ever before. Now why on earth should the Republicans get screwed by the Left? Wasn't part of the Bill to have even more Billions of dollars go to Ukraine? Why does anything having to do with Ukraine or maybe Israel need to be brought up in an Immigration Bill?

Why do we need this Bill to begin with. POS Biden didn't need no stinking Bill to illegally invite and allow Millions of illegal aliens to cross our border illegally. Why can't he simply reverse his decision now? Doesn't he have the balls or doesn't he have the balls?

Yes little denny everyone knows that. But passing an Immigration Bill that screws over Americans is not the right way to do it IS IT? Why do you on the Left always want to do something at the negative expense of We the People?
How about doing something FOR Americans for a change. I know it is completely new for the Left but do give that concept a try. Who knows, you on the Left might someday get tired of being corrupt liars and would enjoy working for America rather than for a Socialist goal that would screw America.

The Election Year has everything to do with Biden doing or at least appearing to be doing something for America. Otherwise he would still be screwing over all Americans every chance he got.

The other problem with Biden is he has from day one done everything a day late and a dollar short. Only when he has been nagged by his staff or Republicans there is a problem will he take care of it. Being pragmatic and taking care of a problem is not in his wheelhouse. Neither is his brain.
