New Eastern Bluebird Feeder

It took eight days before some brave soul, one out of our six residents, would enter thru a small hole to dine. The feeder is less than a foot from an open feeder, both presenting mealworms. The starlings were pigging out and this enclosed feeder has a hole that is too small for them to enter. Today is day nine and some Blues have entered, acted claustrophobic and exited after only a few bites while some do quite well.

Shot thru kitchen window. Time to get the Windex outside!

Looking for a contractor to power-wash the roof!

Pretty cool, Doug. I thought contractor was spelled "wife"!

You know not where you tread! You somehow confused the word contractor with wife (boss). (I get three squares plus snacks and fringe benefits.)

It was 14 degrees this morning and the widow works well enough! I don't want to hear about Az!

Nice sit-down or drive-thru options

It's interesting to watch the occupants leave at various times. The titmouses moved on in the last week or so and the Black-capped Chickadees are moving as well. Waiting for our annual visit of the Grossbeaks!

Last year they came in early June and we enjoyed watching them feed their kids as the summer progressed.

Again, shooting thru a window.
