AzPicLady Loc: Behind the camera!

I took the R3 and went to the zoo yesterday. It was only the second time after breaking my arm I had even tried to carry and lift the camera. It weighs about 7 pounds. The day started out pretty well, but I soon realized that this was going to be difficult - even painful. I ended up not shooting very much.

Go away! You're in my space!

Kathy, I hope you will get well soon, that arm will heal and then you will be in full potential to make beautiful images. I like the images of what I think is a leopard, a little bit contrasty but very acceptable and beautiful.
Keep on healing and doing well.

Wonderful set, Kathy. The leopard portrait is especially beautiful. I find your “playing in pain” inspirational but please don’t push the envelope too much..😊

You're so right, Frank. But it was just something else to carry! Thanks.

Thank you. It's a jaguar, and he was resting in a patch of sun (just like a cat, no?).

Thanks, Joe. I was beginning to not feel like myself by not being able to carry the camera. At least I tried!

I actually thought about it. But I decided to take my cane to be a bit more steady, and carrying the tripod also would have been difficult.
