I didn't watch the Super Bowl, but did you see or do you know about the "Bird" ad that played? Hysterical!

Help me with the math: there are 30 teams and they play 162 games in six months. Is that 90 contests per week?

Let the party begin!

The subscription is a major bargain for baseball viewers. You have access to most of the games live, and can even choose which team's broadcast. Your local team (for me, the Mariners) and ESPN Sunday Night aren't available 'til the next day. A couple per week are blocked totally for exclusive rights by other networks.

I think you are pretty close.

Look at it like this. For 1 team to play 162 games in 6 months or 24 weeks, they would need to play 6-7 games per week.

Since two teams play together that means they are counted in pairs. That means 15 pair of teams (30 teams) play 6-7 games per week for 24 weeks.

So 6-7 multiplied by 15 would be 90-105 games per week.

Of course, there can be more than 24 weeks in 6 months or there may be weeks when fewer or more games are scheduled. But the average is going to be around 90 as you stated.

I did not watch the Bowl, and knew nothing about the ad.
I just watched the ad you linked, but I did not listen to any of it. Listening to the communication level of TV ads is not really my thing.

For this one you need to hear what's said; however, I understand your point

Ok. Maybe I'll think about it and see if I decide to listen sometime.

I just have to keep in mind, pretty frequently, the cartoon that was handed to me a few years ago.
A kitty cat, peering over a sock on a table with a few loose mables scattered about, is scowling at the camera lens.
The caption says. "You may not have lost all your marbles yet, but there is definitely a hole in the sock."
