That's a great find! People were a lot hardier then than now! I've never understood the desire to shoot inanimate objects!

Looking closely at the holes in fridge, they likely came from inside, since they appear to be straight, not at an angle that would be required to come through the door...AND...there are no holes around the door except for two way to the left. Also can't tell if there are holes around the electric box. As to size/cold weather... close quarters means body heat could warm up the cabin some, too....ever been in a cowbarn in winter? It's not 72, but livable. Oh, and the size of the holes seem to be big enough for a .357 revolver....
Just like the bullet or shotgun pellet holes in the traffic signs in the backwoods.
