These are a few of the people that participated in a living history event near Bartow, Florida. It is one of the largest pre 1840 Rendezvous in the country. I have been a participant for 20 years. The first batch will be from the Lady's Tea. So almost all women, except for the doorman and musician.

The best part of any gathering like this (Pioneer Days, in my experience) has always been the people

Good work Roxie. I almost went to this event but couldn't get myself in gear Saturday morning. I am about 90 minutes away in Ellenton. Maybe next year.

I hope you can make it next year.........I hope to be there. The last Friday and Saturday of the Rendezvous are public days.
