Just a few homes from the past. Someone lived there, laughed there, cried there, and maybe even died there. What could those old walls tell us.
Still occupied, this was found on I think the Rio Dulce River in Central America.

Terlingua is the location of this stone house. Most of the homes in the town are like this and abandoned.

Located just a couple of miles from me this house looked perfect for a haunted house. Sadly shortly after this people began to deface it and the owner tore it down because of the liability.

Shot from about a quarter mile away I though that this house was abandoned. Later found out that people live there.

Located near the Grove in central Texas. It looks like it has been abandoned for a while.

Very interesting seeing the variety and the range in condition of the home. Really makes me think.
The people in number 4 must have an awful lot of buckets.
I really like that picture from Terlingua. It has several interesting buildings.
I found it interesting that this is not the original location of Terlingua. We took an off road tour with Angel Tours into the back country. They took us to the original location within Big Bend National Park which was probably ten miles from the present location. All that was left of the town were a few foundation outlines maybe a brick or two high. Looking at the present Terlingua it's hard to vision what the original must have been like to live in. If you ever visit the area I highly recommend Angel Tours into the back country only accessible to 4 wheel drives. Very knowledgeable.
Dean, very nice series. Thanks for sharing.
