I read that some of them hopped a plane to California. Many of our gangs are race or country of origin based. I hope they go into the wrong neighborhood and piss off the local Homeboys. And furthermore, I hope the cops are slow to respond.

Back near the start of my teaching career, I was at a High School near Griffith Park. An Asian girl at our school had a Grandfather who ran a small produce store. A local gang banger made a pass at the girl and groped her. The next day he was found hanging by his feet from a power pole on the corner by the market-naked and beat to hell. It seems Grandfather, Dad and her Uncles were all former CIA mercenaries.

After the sun came up several LAPD patrol cars drove through the intersection before one of them "noticed" him hanging there after a couple of hours.
The students told me the word was that the guy was told if he so much as looked at the girl again, he would lose key parts of his reproductive system. All the other gangs started having their families shop at the produce store so the Grandfather would think of them as friendly.

If a Citizen has attacked a police officer he belongs in jail, to set him free without bail only increases crime, let's wait and see how many more officers will be attacked. I mean the message has been sent to the public that it is a minor offense with no punishment other than a two hour ride to Jail, a slap on the hand and a court date. Is there anyone here that thinks this is OK. I wonder how many of the migrants are criminals seeking Asylum from prosecution in their homeland.

Evidently the Manhattan DA thinks so. Hopefully his followers will wake up the next election cycle and put this nonsense to rest. Assault generally results in some serious jail time and for these thugs, deportation.

1. Several 747 cargo models loaded with cans of red paint collide at high altitude over NYC, the paint cans pop open in the low air pressure and red paint rains down over the city. New York has just gone red.
