I'm doing a review of 2023 to determine what to keep going forward. Sort of a Best of culling. Here are 4 that have made the cut.
March 2023 we took a drive to Cambridge Md to a spot on the Choptank River, not far upstream from the Chesapeake Bay. I had been looking for a Canvasback to photograph for some time. It was well worth the drive.

Spectacular, but you really have to come up with a super caption for that first one (Is it the male or female doing the yapping?)

That is two males. I don't know if the spat was about the hen just out of frame or a better spot for feeding.
