The dawn before the sunrise on Lake McDonald in GNP

I took this one back on 08-24-2020, arrived before first light and waited... I grabbed this one before the sun crested above Gunsite Pass across Lake McDonald while set up on the beach at Apgar. The nice thing about this time of day, no one is usually around, sometimes a few will be.

A lovely blend of colors beyond the silhouettes.

Excellent.
I would get rid of the white fringe around the mountain tops.

What white fringe on my computer I don't see any, so it has to be on your end.

I can see the white fringe vividly around the top edges of the mountains where the dark mountain meets the light sky. This is very noticeable when you look at the full size picture. This is common and is called Chromatic Aberration and is easily corrected with most editors. Not sure why it's not showing up on your monitor, but I'm fairly certain it's not on my end, but in your picture.

The fix is simple with most editors. Adobe has a nice link to what it is, causes and fixes here:
https://www.adobe.com/creativecloud/photography/discover/chromatic-aberration.html

Anyway, the picture is wonderful and deserves a wee bit of attention.

I love the simple beauty of this image and I too see the white fringe.

I can see the white fringe vividly around the top ... (show quote)

Again, I don't see white at all, yellow yes, but no white on several computers that have the same image calibration. One would do well to just enjoy the posted images, instead of trying critique where one did not ask for it. I don't come here to have that done when I post... there is a room area just for those that want critiquing done, and this room is not that. This is the last time I'll address this with you.

Thanks.
