A stroll around Whitby, North Yorkshire, UK.

I have done many posts over the years of Whitby and hope you still enjoy this one. You don’t have to walk very far around the harbour to get plenty of shots. The last one was taken by Bob from the top of the 199 steps with his phone. It gives an idea of the expanse of Whitby.
We have had torrential rain turning some of the water brown with peat silt from the nearby moors.
The Town Hall was built in 1788 in the Market Place.

Very nice set Sylvia. The gull was a pleasant surprise!

Great Shots
Whitby looks like a nice place to visit if not to live in -- Beats the hell out of my town's strip malls & gas stations
Thanks for the tour, Sylvia. I really enjoyed it.
Thanks for posting, love the steps, great to walk along the beach, then fish and chips at Trenchers. Then more walking and photography after lunch to "burn off" lunch. Must visit again soon.
Excellent set, quite enjoyable!
