Batsto is an old historic town in the middle of the Pine Barrens. There are several old mills and some workers houses. This morning started out misty; but by the time I got there most of the mist had lifted. I had my mirrorless camera with me; but I thought it was a good morning for some black and white film that I had loaded in my Nikon FE.

2. This is a bench by the nature center. I used a 24mm lens to get some wide angle distortion.

3 outhouses behind the worker's houses.

4. I don't know what this building was, but I love the porch.

5. I like the curtains and that you can see to the front window through the house. Wish I had had a polarizer for the glare on the window pane.

Beautiful set Erich. I think the first one is Best in Set
The B&W made me feel nostalgic even though I've never been there
. Good sequence. Might even be described as wabi sabi
.

Nice, but #1 is the one for me. I can feel your description in the frame.
Excellent variety, wonderful sense of place.

I agree with you. I've taken this shot before; but it never came out this nicely. I like that the tree on the left is leaning left and the tree on the right is leaning right. It also helped that there was some mist and absolutely no wind. Thanks for taking a look. This one might go on the wall.

Perhaps Wabi Sabi; but I'll stick with nostalgic. That means more to me; and I agree that it fits the mood.

I like the outhouses, and the porch with its bench; but the first shot is the keeper for me as well in this set. Thanks for taking a look.

I really like the first one best; but I thought I would show the others as a indication of the day I had with an old friend from the film days. Thanks, Linda, for your input.

These are all nice, Erich. Numbers four and five are my favorites.

Thank you. I like four a lot. Five I think suffers a bit from the reflections in glass. Sometimes it is an asset; but some times it can distract. I find it a bit distracting in this photo.

For me the first and last shot are a keeper. The first for the overall scene. The second one it peek into 19 th century home life.
Good point and thanks for taking a look. I like the first shot is the one I really like. The others are nice; but the first one is the one I'm really pleased with.

Beautiful work, Erich! I agree with Jack on #1.
Great textures in all of the images.
