I am not sure I should say Lenovo support is good or bad.

1. Bad. When I had problem upgrading to Windows 11, I called them they said to call Microsoft. They don't want to solve the problem for me.
2. Bad. When I tried to reinstall my copy of MS Office that I purchased with the computer they again told me to call Microsoft.
3. Good. Whenever I called tech support the wait time is very short.
4. Good. I put in a service ticket about the laptop screen developed white spot. Visible when viewing a dark image. They simply sent me the box and paper works to send it in for repair. All with next day shipping.
4. Good. The charging port is cracked a little bit because when I dropped the laptop with the charger plugged in the plug cracked the port. They fixed both problem in about 2 weeks time and the computer came back looks brand new.
5. Bad. Computer is good but they reinstalled Windows 10 and bring it back to factory state so I have to reinstall Windows 11 and everything else.
6. Bad. I can't enable the Nvidia RTX 2000 GPU. The computer would work fine with the built in Intel UHD GPU which uses 512MB of share RAM. The Nvidia has its own 4GB of RAM.
7. Bad. I called and asked them about the problem with the Nvidia video and they keep passing me on to others and finally hang up on me.
8. This morning I called again and they sent me a lable to FedEx to them for repair.

I don't know about the other stuff, but never try to go from one Windows version to another unless you do it by buying a computer with the new version already installed. Trouble percentage is way too high with an "upgrade" (is it really?).

Not lucky. I did it on 3 different desktops. They are all HP's.

Back in the 90's I did a clean install once every 6 months to get rid of all the accumulated junks.

I've been doing it for more than 30 years.
All the way back to WIN 3.0.

Besides my many, many computers I've upgraded others working as a pc repair tech.

Same here. I had never experienced an issue upgrading Windows versions until Win 11 was released. The problem of moving from Win 10 to Win 11 was due to the stricter hardware requirements of Windows 11. In this case, I did upgrade to the newest Windows by purchasing a new laptop. No problem because I was going to buy a new laptop anyway. Later I found out that it is possible to upgrade an older, incompatable laptop to Win 11 using a technique I found on YouTube.

I've never bought a Lenovo, but everything you described as bad is not bad. It's their job to take care of any hardware problems and Lenovo proprietary software. All computer manufacturers have the same policies, for legal reasons. If you have Windows issues, that's a Microsoft responsibility. You should call Microsoft, and be prepared for a long wait to speak to someone. Best to first try a reinstall yourself, as I have done several times with no problems.

PC heath check said the computer is ready for Windows 11 and Windows Updates tried to install Windows 11 about 5 times but every time it failed and had to reverse to Windows 10. But Windows Update kept doing it. I had to change in the registry to make it not doing any more. Later by chance when I retired, I uninstalled a number of software from Rockwell Automation as well as from Siemens and reenable the update and it went thru just fine. I guess it's the automation software that caused the problem.

I have never had difficulties upgrading Windows, and no one I personally know has had problems with it.

I bought my all-in-one Lenovo desktop in 2019. Within a very few months, the sound card went out. They sent someone to fix it (I had paid for on-site service). This particular idiot had apparently NEVER worked on an all-in-one before and he tried to pry it apart and broke the screen! I immediately called Lenovo. They wanted me to send the computer back - I said absolutely not, I paid for on-site service, and now this idiot has broken my computer - you have to replace it. NOW. I use it every day. We ultimately agreed they would replace it by overnight Fed-Ex, but I had to settle for a lesser unit.

The few problems I have had since have been handled professionally. The extended warranty expires this spring. I'll buy another computer. Don't know whether to go with a laptop and monitor, or another all-in-one. Or which brand.
