Where on your computer are you downloading them?
Did you look in your documents?

Hi starlord
Have you tried to transfer manually rather than using the wizard...
1. Plug scan disc into PC
2. Cancel the PC wizard that auto launches
3. Go to computer/pictures
4. Create new folder and rename (to your preference) and open said folder
5. Go to "computer" and open the San disc memory
6. Highlight all pictures, copy and paste into the New Folder
If these still do not show then you may have inadvertently switch from jpeg to RAW format and without the camera specific software your PC is unlikely to register them (but usually has a rectangle with a Red Cross across it from corner to corner)
Just another thought - can you see and open the pictures from the card on the PC? - if the answer to this is yes then it is a settings issue on the PC
Good luck - hope you find the photos - if not you can use a file recovery programme to see what has been on the card in the past
Good luck
Karl
yes, as this is the computer I use, I have to be on it. My other machine is only a stand by in case this one fails.
my e-maul address is starlord05@netzero.net
I had forgotten to post in the first reply that I had just done a scan of my card and when I had scanned it the block on screen said it was for ' 10/26/12 " and I did a reset of the computer which is what I do every time I scan the card and after the computer does it's reset, I then check the down lord menu and I then check the block of files that it gave the date for and I get NOTHING.
I just got done watching one of the program that I watch. I then took my FUJIFILM amera and put the scan disk in the interface that allows me to download the photos into the computer, it did just as I have posted about, that care had 33photos on it but after I downloaded and remove the card after all was downloaded once more they where all gone, this is nuts, I'm am not going to do this anymore as in the batch of photos where some of the ones that I had on the disk the last I had tried this.
I have gone back to using my TOPCON DUPERD and so far I've used two two rolls of film. I'll have to take this film to the super market to have do the film and make the print. I di take a few shots with the the FUJIFILM camera and I'll take the card in it, and download the card in them of tuesday and then see if they come out. I also took photos with my TOPCON as back up, only it will be some days before I get them done.
inone of the replays I made my e-mail address in it it so you can contack me using that address.
I use a Panasonic camera and typically download to my MAC using iPhoto and the built in slot on the computer.
Now and then I will have a few pictures that do not download. When this happens, if I look at the card using Finder I can see the image their but it is in a funny format. Once I manually put them on the computer [dragging file] they still fail to open with iPhoto. I have found that using they the software that came with the camera SILKPIX I can download and open and resave. I think these are jpgs instead of the RAW
my card reader is one that is a stand alone one, it hags on my computer table when I'm not using it. now today it worked ok, I had shots from my T.V. from last night, but I waited until today to use the card reader, and after downloading every this was fine. Now if I can figure out how to fix the screen all will be better.
Last night I took some photos of a program I watch, today I took the card and put it into the reader that I have, after the files downloaded and everything was ok, I put the computer in to the restart mode and every thing when ok then. after the computer was back to the normal screen and everything LOOKED ok I then went to the download part of the menu and clicked on the files and the only file there was/is for 11/26/12 and after looking at the images there I dropped back to the main screen and everything looked ok. after I did all of that I then checked the list of files that where to be there only instead of one for todays files, there was only the one listed above so I had lost over 300 photos in the transfer which left me NOTHING.
I have taken my camera out and I have taken 4 shots with it, after I leave this place I'll unplug my modem and everything else on the machine and try to upload the ones I took. after I try I'll log off and after the computer has gone back to it's main screen I'll hit the restart and then check if the file has been updated.
I have done just what I said I would do, and guess what?
it was the same old deal, when I checked the list of files all there was was one for 2012-11-25 now for 2012-11-28 which if it worked right was to be there.

I took my camera out and took 4 more photos, I thing came inside and pluged the card reader into the computer and put the card in that, when the photos where downloaded and on screen I the copyed the photos when they where on the list that showed. I then copyed the photos and (over 200 of them) moved them over to a file that was old and put the files on that one. then I went and reset the machine and when the machine was back to it;s normal screen I checked the file and all the last two weeks of photos where then!
Just curious, starlord, by "resetting" your machine, do you mean rebooting or restarting your computer? And if so, why?
