Nice work, waterfowl are late showing up the year. We still have open lakes and fields, the weather this week should start pushing the migration south again.

Some photos of Tundra Swans, which are wintering in NC. I had hoped to get photos of Snow Geese, but they have been elusive so far. This has been a 3-year quest for me... And, I have lots of Tundra Swans photos, but none of the Snow Geese! And, I know they are there... somewhere!! I plan to try again, soon...

All photos were late in the day, with that last one as the sun was setting behind me.

Nikon D750, Sigma 150-600C, various f-stop, ISO, SS, etc..

Thanks! Late start and maybe an early end… It all depends on the weather.

Beautiful! I catch them in the early spring when they're moving through Central Pennsylvania. Never have seen a Snow Geese come this way.

Thanks! Apparently, the Snow Geese spend some of their winter months here. At least that is what I've heard... although I don't have any photos prove it!! (Yet... still working on that.) According to what I've read, their Winter presence is quite limited to a narrow strip along the East coast, as far South as here in NC.
