Still a substantial number sold... Maybe folks who can afford them and appreciate them are buying for collection purposes ? I sure wish I had bought a Pen-F before they stopped making them. Yes, I know it's not film but sometimes when you snooze, you lose.

For some reason or other that I can't understand I've kept some of the cameras that I owned. So someplace in the closet is a Nikon 7200, F2 and a F5 and of course a Brownie Hawkeye. In a handy place is a d850 ready to go. I was going to sell the F2 and F5 but the local camera dealer said it would be a good idea to hang unto them a bit longer. So I'm taking his advise

It's the Leica and if I were to buy a Leica it makes more sense for me to buy a film Leica than a digital Leica. Buying a film Leica and in a few years it's like you're shooting a film Leica with expired film.
