Has anyone used Lightroom's AI auto editing? I watched a Youtube video on this and tried it and I was really impressed with the results. It seemed that the histogram color exposures were correct so just asking your thoughts.
Yes. If you go back to version 6 or so, the Auto button in the Develop module was pretty bad. My memory is that about 2 years ago, the Auto button got an AI overhaul. Since then, it has done very well for me. Since then the Auto AI has lived in the shadows of the other AI stuff that Adobe has provided.
Have you tried the AI auto selections?
"Auto" in software, smart phones and even cameras has improved so much that it can be a good idea to use it.

I have just watched an AI video on Youtube and when I tried it on a few images I was really impressed. Of course I needed to make a few minor adjustments but it really helped to increase my editing tremendously.

Yes, I have been doing the AI auto. Even though it will put the slider up on say sharpening and not noise, it appears that it does reduce noise also.
So, for now I have been using auto and have been pleased with the results.

I just used it to process my Christmas photos of family. I liked it as a good starting point. I did have to manually brighten the shadows and add more denoise to most pics after using the auto AI as most were indoor in poor lighting.

Okay.....I tried it and really liked what I saw. I did make a few minimal adjustments to some but overall I was really impressed.

Can you put in a link to the YouTube video?

what is “auto AI”? There is the Auto function and there is AI for other things, is there a separate Auto AI function? Where?

where is this auto AI button?
For me, the Lightroom Auto function has gone through various changes over the years. Myself, I liked it better a little while back, but not a long way back.
I usually give “Otto” ;) a try to see what he comes up with. Sometimes I keep the result, sometimes I tweak the result, and sometimes I just discard it and retouch manually.
Currently, it seems to me that more often than not, Otto over brightens and over exposes my images. Maybe Otto needs cataract surgery?

It is the same program in both. Acts the same, no difference. Therefore my post was valid. OK?

Sure.
Of course your post was valid. I wasn’t trying to invalidate your post. I apologize if my reply appeared that way. That was not my intent. I for one didn’t know they were the same because they seem different to me. PS AI seems more potent to me but maybe that’s because of how I use it.

I don't remember the link but the title is,"Auto Edit your photos in Lightroom with one click. If you put that in the search engine you will find it.

Okay, in the develop module, bottom left is the sync tab. Next to the word "sync" is a small tab. Click on that tab and the word will change to "Auto sync", then go back up to the "Auto" tab and click on it. Any group of photos that you have selected will be AI auto processed. You have to have at least two photos highlighted in order for the tab to change to "sync". I was pleasantly amazed at the results.
