I have no intention of "moving" anywhere. Yet after yesterday, when we all added MOVIE quotes, and today when the discussion moved along a little more, I got the following ad in my email. Coincidence? I think not. I think that the AI's that scrub through the internet just misunderstood the context of yesterday's posts. Did anyone else get an email like this one?
My wife, who is well past the age, likes to amuse herself by mentioning "when the baby comes" or some such in the vicinity of the A***zon Echo just to see what ads she will receive in response.
one more reason to stay away from social media..

I think one of your neighbors sent it.
They do not deny doing it, I shut them out years ago.
Yes 'something' is watching. I was looking at a specific tripod on several different store sites.
Now ads are coming daily for that specific item.
Addendum: After posting this, scrolled down and there it is, an ad for the tripod.

But most of my neighbors like me...I think.
I didn't get that one, but I have gotten other ads. When I research parts, whether for photography, cars, electronics, etc. I'll see adds for those items. Eventually, they become less once I've bought an item and no longer look for those.

How did you access this forum?
Here's one I get lately.
I order something, from different companies.
A few days before the item arrives I get an e-mail from 'USPS', 'UPS', 'FEDEX' etc. advising me that the home address is incomplete.
Go to the website and give them information to complete the delivery.
Latest is an official looking page with a website of 'usps___.com
Have not bit but how the heck do they know I've got something on order??
And it's not orders from the same company!
Wow, I programmed AI and this is a bit freaky to me.
