I think I need to get outside and do some photography. Reprocessing images with Corel PaintShop Pro into Kaleidoscope-like images is starting to get weird! I tried reprocessing some images of Seashells. They are a bit disturbing. Take a look...
Comments, feel free.
#1 original image Scorpion Spider Conch Seashell. A bit creepy in life and the shell itself. Mirrored giving bilateral symmetry. Selected 2.
#2 & #3 A different scruffier specimen of Scorpion Spider Conch. I should mention the algorithm PSP uses I don't understand. It seems pretty random as to what you get. I tried "setting up" some processing session and I would get totally unexpected results. The main thing I can control is how many Lobes or Petals I get. Selected 5.
#4 This Cone Shell did not give such a creepy image. Selected 6 Petals. Maybe these preceding "monsters" are what you see if you get "stung" with cone shell neurotoxin? Probably not this one but many species of Cone Shell are dangerous to humans.
Those are excellent, unique and well done!!
Thanks for looking and the comments.
I don't see a problem! I like all of them!
Interesting, Mike--enjoyed.
