A cloud backup for photo is difficult just because of the volume. Full frame raw files are usually 60-70 Mb each, results after editing (psd or tiff) could be much more. So, a daily cloud backup will take very long time. And restoring a few TB from a cloud will take forever. The only feasible solution I found is a NAS with RAID (e.g. Synology). If you are really afraid to lose you pictures you can use 2 different volumes.

Once the initial “seeding”is done, you can do the incremental backups at night or as a background task, so unless your ISP has a data cap, who cares how long the incrementals take? And if you have an extremely slow internet, or a very large amount of data, some cloud providers will loan you a HD for the upload, and if you need a complete download, they can loan you a disk with your data. No real excuses not to use the safest storage there is for most users.
