This was taken early one morning on PEI. We were on our belated honeymoon about 44 years ago camping in a PEI park. I set the camera on the hood of the truck with a 10-second timer and ran to join my wife and this picture was the result. Cancer took her from me two years ago today.
Glad you had that time together. Nice photo.
Thank you for sharing a wonderful memory!
Thanks, everyone for your kind remarks.
Lovely photo of a beautiful memory. I'm so sorry for your loss. The deeper we love, the harder we grieve, but I have learned that one who lives on in the heart is never gone.

That is a treasured photograph, I'm sure. I'm so sorry your Wife and You had to go through that terrible period. I lost my Wife on May 2, 2015, after Her cancer came back after 16 years from breast cancer. We met each other on a blind date set up by some friends and we never spent a day apart after that blind date except when work called me away for at times. I still wear the ring that she put on my finger and one of hers that fits my little finger. I still tell her picture "good morning Sweetheart", and "good night Sweetheart" every morning and evening. I'm planning on the same thing I have done since the funeral. This New Years evening at midnight I will be at her grave just for a little while. I've done that every year since she has been called Home. Funny, the things we do for the ones we love so much and miss. I hope you have found peace since loosing her. It takes time, but I'm not over it yet, I don't think I ever will.
Nice Photo. Your loss saddens me.
A lovely photo and memory.
