Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center.
I wish I could say I ran into these animals in the wild, however these were in Alaska's Wildlife Conservation Center. AWCC takes in injured and orphaned animals year-round and provides them with spacious enclosures and quality animal care. Most of the animals that arrive at the AWCC become permanent residents and will always have a home here.
I had a really hard time trying to get a good photo of these Muskox..

Sort of a nice face shot. I would have loved to see them in the wild

This guy did not look like any of the wolves I have seen in Yellowstone

I will say he was very handsome and posed nicely!

This looks more like a dog to me than a wolf!

The porcupine was also a bit shy and liked to hid his face in the leaves....

Just went down to Bosque Del Apache and Bernardo, I thought this guy was funny!

It was rainy and overcast a lot. There were not many birds at Bosque as they didn't have any corn fields. Most of the birds were at Bernardo. This is probably one of the better bird photos!!!

Very nice, especially the Muskox! We went up north of the Arctic Circle last time we were there looking for Muskox. Spent three days. No luck!
Another excellent set, Beth!

Excellent shots! Sometimes you just have to shoot what you can get...

Well these were a bit of a guarantee!!! I hate seeing any animal that can’t be out in the wild, but I suppose in their case the alternative was not good.
