Go ahead, shake your head and laugh, it's perfectly ok with me. Just can't help myself.
Not about how the pictures lokk, but about how cute the frog is.
A few weeks ago, I was watering the plants on my enclosed front porch and I found a tiny tree frog sitting in the east window, warming in the morning sun. Did I have the heart to put it out in the chilly wind? Not me. I love frogs and this cutie is only as big as my thumbnail.
I put a clear McDonald's drink cup, with a paper towel in it and a shallow lid with lukewarm water in it on the window sill. Checked cack later and the sun coming through the plastic cut must have made it warmer in there because there it was, in the cup. Later it was in the water. Off I go to Walmart to buy some mealworms. Yum! Tiny, but fat and happy frog. The same person who would name a bob-tailed horse "Bobtail" would name a ting frog "Hopper".

Hopper is so cute. That is so kind of you so keep him fat and sassy! I am nodding my head thinking of course you would to that!

Nice set and a nice save. I'm sure the frog is happy.

I'm a hopeless animal lover Jill!!! Been that way all my life. At 86, it's doubtful that there's hope for ever changing.

How crazy are you? Would you prefer that be on a scale of 1 through 5? Or 1 through 10? Will negative numbers be permissible? Or should a prospective crazy-rater use a DSMEleventeen designation instead?

Nice froggy. Seems like.

(Do frogs go crazy? Hmmm. Come to think of it, maybe they do! The gang and I were camping near a spring one time in Hack Canyon and were pretty much kept awake all night because what seemed like several billion frogs kept croaking CRAZILY, ALL NIGHT LONG. So we named the place 'Frog Tank'. The end.)

p.s.: I don't see a horse anywhere in your photos! What's up with THAT?

That's great. They can be pretty tame.

On a scale of 1 to 10 I am certifiably a 14. Negative numbers just might be better. I tried sanity once but it was not for me. I ran back to crazy as fast as I could. Must have been springtime in the canyon. I love hearing the songs the frogs sing in the spring. See? Now you see how crazy I am. I can't help it and old has nothing to do with that either. I have always been this way. "Frog Tank" probably fit to perfection. Crazy women name pet frogs "Hopper".
Oh dear, did I leave out a horse...how could I? Crazy doesn't not run in my family, it gallops! Is that horsey enough? Thank you Cany, for looking and for the chuckles.

Thank you for commenting. This one seems to be. I'm glad it likes mealworms. If it makes it to spring I will release it in my flower bed.

Yep, wonder how much one should spend on a Christmas gift for a teeny tiny frog? LOL

I had one that would come onto the porch and wait on the armrest of my chair for me to show up every evening. I would catch moths and hand feed him. Then he started following me into the house. I thought we had a giant dust bunny hopping around, since he was covered in dust. I cleaned him off and took him outside. Mating season came around and he figured out that his nocturnal love songs would travel farther if he climbed into the track for the door wall by our bedroom. The whole plate of glass would start resonating loudly at 3 am. It took a while to find him - he didn't seem to be inside, and he didn't seem to be outside, either. He was in the track! I got up and moved him out into the yard, but the next might he was back. That wet on for a few days. Finally, I put him in the track to the doors on the pole barn. Success. He had a huge sheet metal amplifier, and we could sleep.
