That ruling will be undone by the U.S. Supreme Court. The 14th Amendment, Article III, requires some sort of adjudication and proof that someone engaged in insurrection (The January 6, 2021 action was a riot, nothing more, and there's no proof that the former President incited anything. The idiotic Colorado court will look like morons, which is what they really are.

Colorado seems to think there is proof of an insurrection.

Out of seven judges, three of them are pretty stupid.

We'll know for sure pretty quickly, The decision is whether criteria of "engaged in insurrection or rebellion" and "officer of USA" have been met.

How incredible some judges feel the need for Due Process is not necessary when it suits their agenda. Common sense would seem to indicate for someone to take Trump's name off the ballot there would have to have been some sort of judgement finding him guilty of starting an insurrection. So far I have not seen nor heard of anything like that, ONLY a bunch of dumb ass Democrats SAYING he is guilty but without any evidence to PROVE such is true.

As per the usual lying corrupt Democratic Socialist anti American bullshit a group of people have determined rules set up for the good of the American people do not apply to President Trump. They feel anything they can do to GET him is appropriate due to their dislike of the man. Nothing else matters but to stop him, not even the will of the people who may think he is completely innocent and who will want to vote for him. Usually this bullshit is found in third world shithole countries but thanks to the Left Wingers those third world ideas have been brought to America for use by the Democratic Party.

How incredible some judges feel the need for Due P... (show quote)

Yet, this amendment doesn't require indictment nor conviction.

It also does not say to what level "proof" needs to be satisfied. Is it "beyond a reasonable doubt", "preponderance of evidence" , "reasonable man", etc.?

Only SCOTUS can further define the application of the amendment to trump's activities and eligibility to be on ballots.

So tell us, Den, did you find it hard getting up this morning? Harder than usual?

You seem to be foaming at the mouth with a loose lips thingy going on.

Harder????? No I was up at 2:30 and ready to greet the day. Two cups later and some photos worked on and posted on UHH and still things to do and places to go. My life could not be better right now. I have a fresh cow elk in the freezer, two brown trout in the freezer from yesterday, one of them 3 pounds, lots of photography of eagles to look forward to and more fishing.

I have pheasant and waterfowl hunting in SD to look forward to and then my rancher friend in SD has invited me to help him with calving in March.

To answer your question my life is going great.

Have a wonderful Christmas to you and your lovely family,

Dennis

I wish you the same! Must be kind of neat to pick the area you desire to spend the holidays in!

LOL, the reference to "hard" was with respect to a "hard on!" You seem to be rather cross this morning!

Well then by your reckoning any judge can say pretty much the same thing about anybody he doesn't like to keep that person from running for office. Doesn't it seen, EVEN TO YOU, some sort of due process must be in order to keep lying corrupt political parties from ruling as would a third world shithole country? If the roles were reversed would you accept this?

Let me see now, Obama illegally spied upon candidate Trump before the election. Hillary Clinton through her attorney lied to the FBI in order to get an investigation of Trump regarding Russia Collusion. Some of the Left Wing voting practices were changed which allowed more votes to go to Biden. You know, like the PA judge who illegally extended the mail in voting law even though he had no right to do so. There were absolute limits, BY CODIFIED LAW, that said the mail in voting dates were from this date to that specific date. The judge extended those days.

So now you are telling us some other judges can simply tell us, in their opinion the voters of Colorado will not have the opportunity of voting for President Trump because THEY feel, without any evidence or due process, he violated the law with respect to causing an insurrection. Pretty Fucked up if you ask me. But that is the DEMOCRATIC PRACTICE isn't it?

Dennis

I'm not telling anyone anything. It's the constitution! SCOTUS will decide.
