The rain came, then left.
The first two images were taken from the same place with my feet in 2 inches of water in both.
The light was brilliant after the storm, with exceptionally clear air. Taking the shots with my back to the sun, and with its low angle, produced some strong reflections, including off the RFK bridge in the distance, and the walkers and puddles on the Esplanade.
I exposed for the sky to a large extent in the last three photographs. My intent was to show how difficult it was to walk into the sun, what everything looked like to the naked eye. I opened the shadows of the buildings a little.

It seems as if you're on that FDR walkway every day. I hope you actually walk back and forth on it. It's good for you, and it's a fine refuge from the rest of the city.
