I like this photo of my granddaughter but she had changed out of her Christmas dress....could anyone change the color or her shirt to red? I dont have the software to do it and it would be so cute for a christmas card. Thanks~

Hi Ivy
As per PM sent a little while ago - the shirt is not fully changed to red and you can still see some original colour - this is due to several factors on my programme - but can be rectified just needs a little time to complete

Wednesday is the next time I have to work at a desk to have ago

Is this the correct density of red you were expecting
Is a week to late for you to have a repost better than this

I am sure there will be other hogs that can achieve this in much faster timescale and if they do then this is really good practive for me with a purpose

Look forward to hearing from you - either on the post or PM system

When I have issues with wanting to change the color of things, I usually just convert to B/W to remove all colors and call it good. put the color in the card and use a B/W. Just a suggestion.

Hi Ivy, I had a go at changing the colour but it may not be red enough.
Nice shot tho', it'll make a nice card.

Well I don't want to hi-jack this post either so I'll post a new topic under "Colour change" [Color for our US pals who can't spell] :D :D

Here's my attempt. Getting rid of all the purple on edges and hair is trickier than I thought. Matched shirt to hair ribbon.

I took a shot at changing the color...it's not perfect, but I changed her shirt to match the color of the ribbon in her hair. I used the color range command in CS5 to pick the different shades of purple in her shirt, which gave me a selection of her shirt only. I then used the eye dropper to select the color of her ribbon and used a brush with the mode set to color and brushed in the new color. By the way, she is an adorable young lady.

I changed the picture, but I can't figure out how to get the photo to appear in my post. Every time I hit send, the attachment goes away and my response does not post. What am I doing wrong?
