Does anyone have any opinions on this lens? It will be used on a canon t3i.

Thank you, Larry

I have this lens, love it and find more uses for it than I thought I would. Very sharp. Equal to L glass but just can't be because it is for a crop sensor only.

I would be lost without it. It's a great lens for open landscapes, architectural photography and wide angle close-up work such as museum displays, room interiors, family gatherings, etc. The lens is tack sharp.
On a recent rip to Colorado and New Mexico it was on my camera 90% of the time. I purchased it this year and wish I had done it years ago.
I'll attach a couple of examples.

This is a great lens and when I'm out doing landscape shooting, like in Yosemite for example, I will keep that lens on my EOS 50D
and have a telephoto on my EOS 5D and I'm ready for almost anything.

I also have my tripod with me and I have extra quick release plates attached to both cameras to save time and effort.

Thanks for the replies! Birdpix, checked out your links and those are great photo's and good documentation. Mr. B thanks for the nice examples. I have read other reports and folks really like the lens. It is kind of expensive but I think it will be worth it.
