Hi there puzzlers - have a go at this one - suggest an answer but DON'T give your method (I want to keep people guessing for a bit) - I'll post the solution in a few days time!

Enjoy

THANKS EVERYONE FOR HAVING A GO! - sadly some gave out the method but hey ho, that's life. THE CORRECT ANSWER IS...............19
(The order of operations is part of the key so the multiplication is the first bit to do on the answer final line) - then you have to note that the value of the table is the number of legs so tables with 4 legs = 4, table (in final row has 3 legs so = 3). Then the clock's value changes its value to equal the time shown (=5 on last row). If it's of any consolation it's easy to miss (at first sight) the table legs and the clock time.

Heck no. You are not the only one. There are plenty of people who are guessing that number.

Even more, though are guessing 40.

And a I deeply thank you for that guess, as I’m getting some heat from people who think I gave away the answer.

Obviously, I didn’t.

I did hint that it has to be an odd number, though. And you need to look carefully at the details of each detail of the final question.

19. 3X5=15 +4=19

Multiplication is first the operation, even though, no parenthesis are present. i.e. (3X5)
Answer is: 19
