A cartoonist posted a pretty much damning photo of the spokesman for Hamas lambasting Israel for the civilian casualties in Gaza. I've posted a copy of it here as well as the article.

While I really am appalled at the civilian casualties on both sides, I take great exception to the Washington Post on taking this off their site. The cartoon shows the reality that Hamas uses the innocent as shields. The cartoon was also condemned in the Guardian. So much for posting both sides of the conflict.

I think if I was a Palestinian and I was siding with Hamas

and knew war was inevitable I am sure I would have sent

my wife and children as far away from Israel as possible.

One thing for sure the Israeli offensive has been a stupendous recruiting tool for Hamas

You got that right ! He is weak. On one hand he tells the world that Israel should not harm civilians but we continue to send them bombs and bullets and veto a ceasefire that nearly every other country in the world approved.

So you’re in favor of continued killing of innocent civilians no matter the cost.

Netanyahu is firmly against a two state solution - which is the only one that stops the blood shed.

I’m not in support of any in a civilian being killed. as long as Hamas hides behind innocent civilians, there will be civilians killed at the fault of Hamas not Israel.
