My son signed on to Fubo TV just to watch the Thanksgiving Parade. I was free for a week. If he wanted to keep it, it would be $64 - $75 every month, unless he wanted upgrades. Are they out of their minds?

Seems like current scenarios include:
"It's only $..."
"That would come in handy at times."
"I want that."

Cost-to-value factor, what's that?

Fubo at its most basic level is almost four times the price of Netflix.

I just took a look - old TV shows and not many good movies. You want Horror? They have just one. They have about fifty Christmas movies, though.

I signed up with Sling last month for all the sports they offer. It is 70.00 a month so once March Madness is over I will drop it for April - September. A lot of the streaming services allow you to go in and out of their service without penalty. Of course, if they were smart, they would drop the price to 35.00 a month and keep people all year. This would increase their revenue by selling ads for a year-round audience and the subscription price would be the same for the consumer.

Nope... not worth it at all in my book.

It sems that Fubo has lots of sports, but that doesn't interest anyone in this house.

We dropped Direct TV a couple of years ago because of $$$ and went to YouTubeTV - now we're dropping them because they keep raising the price. We're looking at the free streaming services out there - Tubi, Pluto, LG Channles (with our TV), Peacock and Roku - I'm also going to get an external antenna for the local stations - tired of paying for services where they keep increasing the price and dropping the services or changing the lineup because of network $$ disputes...

It's a shame that Bg Business had to ruin TV. We currently have Spectrum cable without local stations. If I want to watch regular TV, I'd have to get a Spectrum DVR and start paying for that every month.

A few weeks ago, due to a contract dispute, YouTube TV dropped one of our local Phoenix stations. It was one that carries the Phoenix Suns games and a couple of shows we like. I looked at switching to Fubu, but they were more expensive and didn't carry PBS. I ended up setting up an antenna to get local tv. Works great, and we are protected from other future contract disputes that might remove local stations from their lineup. Setting up the antenna was very easy.

You looked in the wrong place. They are full service, very similar to Sling and YouTube TV: https://www.fubo.tv/welcome/channels

No, consumers are out of their minds.

Yes, that keeps happening. When millionaires can't agree on how much more they want to make, all of us suffer.
