It’s always interesting to know who uses which smartphone for a camera. So why not do a little survey and see who uses which one and the reasons why. We all know they’re convenient. I’ll start.
I use an iPhone 13 Pro Max. I use that because it has an all-around good camera with a lot of useful features and excellent image quality. I might use one of the Samsung Galaxy series phones, save for the fact that all my devices and computers are Apple and they all synch to each other. I will likely stay with the iPhone in the future.

Like you, all my electronic devices are Apple. So I have stuck with them when buying a phone. Mine is the 14 pro max with the ability to shoot RAW (it saves as a DNG). All the photos it saves are easily edited and once again, the camera’s capabilities make it convenient. It also takes some very nice images.
I use an Apple iPhone 12 for my phone pics. The reason I use it is because it was the only phone I could afford when Verizon stopped serving the iPhone 5S. This was a 3G phone.
In addition I bought this setup for the phone use and the camera came with it….. I could have cared less about the camera
I still prefer my Nikon DSLR 7100
These are good responses. Keep ‘em coming, guys and gals.
I thought the Samsung Galaxy S9 had a "pretty good" camera. Several months ago, Verizon had a free(!) upgrade offer to the Galaxy S23 (not the Ultra). It has a marvelous three lens camera.
I keep fighting against using it because I have a few "real" cameras that were given to me by my wife. But, every time I take a picture or shoot a clip with the S23 I get excited at how good it is. Video stability is amazing. DNG images are too.
I don't know how to compare the S23 to any of the iPhones, but I would recommend it to anyone wanting to exist in the Android system.
I am currently using an IPhone 13 Pro Max last updated from an IPhone 8+. At the moment, the 13 Pro Max serves my needs well. My sister shoots with a Smasung model, her photo's are excellent . Do I want to switch to Android, not at the moment. While I think Android apps are quickly catching up, the are more Apple apps available for the IPhone. Personally, I enjoy exploring the different apps to get creative with the images. I guess in the end, it's what you like, if you like it, enjoy it, and use what you have, then that's all that matters.
In this Smartphone section, I would request that if you post your Smartphone images here, you also post the Model of Smartphone you are using. Adding what you like, dislike etc about what your are using helps others that might be on the fence about which model to purchase now or next time.
I use an iPhone 8+ because it is what I have. I don't use it much for photography, so I don't need a new one.

I took a lot of images with my IPhone 8+, it served me well. I went up to the 13 Pro Max because I liked the new features and the way it handled low light situations.
I stick with my iPhone 10. It only has 4G but we don’t have 5G where I live. And the camera serves me well. Plus it syncs with my iPad.

Sorry for the late responce just got in from work. I traded in my Iphone 14 pro which I loved for the Samsung 23S ultra. What can I say the telephoto is unbelievable. Optical goes out to over 230 mm and can use the digital with great results to 30x which is 630 mm. The results are amazing. Hope to post some soon but work has been a bear. I am also starting an online photography business. So much for retiring anytime soon.

Thanks for the response, Johnny. I think this could develop into an interesting conversation. I hope we get more postings. Thanks for your comments.
I use an iPhone 14 Pro Max and have all Apple devices so we’re dedicated to the Apple product. Security back then was the impetus to move to Apple. I’ve been amazed at the quality we get from the camera phones. I’d like the reach and slight sharpness advantage of a Samsung Ultra, but am unwilling to give up the plus’s of my iPhone which I still consider amazing. My Nikon 7100 is still better in some few circumstances but it gets less and less use now.
I had to replace (got forced into by its age.) my Galaxy S-III. a year ago.
Got an S-21,
because it was cheaper than an S-22.

I use a Samsung Galaxy s20fe, I use the camera that came with the phone and I downloaded another camera App called XCamera. I use it mainly to take pics of my baked goods and sometimes at our monthly class lunches when I don't want to take either of my "real" cameras.

I use
Camera FV-5 as an alternate/addition to the Samsung camera app.
