Oh darn, I was expecting Alice Cooper It's fun to make the "easy" ones once in a while.

A very 'thrown together' cartoon of some ready cut-out subjects I have on file. All put into a painted background used with a couple of radial filters to make some rough shadows and sun rays. Don't overdo the critique, there's no finesse used in this one - but comment is welcome!

Well done! I think Impressionism comes to mind.

Your characters are amazing, and I expecially like the realism of Alice and the surrealism of the others. Puts everything into perspective! Great image!!!

Word well said by veronica... I join the choirs of praise for you story telling images. A good style to adopt.

No question that the harsh words "Off with her head" knocked poor Alice down. Your work with Alice is the new game in town. The towns of today have many things for Alice to visit that did not exist in Carroll's day. What would Alice think in a small plane hi above the rabbit hole" or seeing the Cheshire cat with a pearl ear ring being painted. So, Roll over Carroll, there is a new game in town, Jack the Magnetoman.

If you did "Alice in New York" falling down a subway hole, and only 10% of the NYC people bought one or more of your images or book... you would be like Andy Warhol predicted, famous for 15.

Style, I had in mind one to comment on, searched and found another I had never seen... one with cats! There the lady does some classics with cats... Vermeer's "Cat With the Pearl Ear Ring" impressed me... 'Roll over Beethoven And tell Vermeer the news' Jack the Magnet is here.

Thanks for all the ideas Don! I’m not sure how far I might get with them - I don’t see Alice too often, and she’s never keen on having her photo taken!

Your creation is perfect for a children’s book illustration, a sequel to Alice in Wonderland. Your imagination is wonderful and it shows in your posts.

Thanks Veronica. The trick is to photograph everything you see!

Photographing everything you see is what some photographers do. But without your creativity, the images would remain unused, and not combined to make an special experience for your viewers. I'm enjoying your imagination.

Thank you Bev, I’m pleased you enjoy them. There are an awful lot I don’t use of course!
