Thank you jdtonkinson for pouring cold water on a positive-thought-day accented by Well by AzPicLady...
Thank you AzPicLady for reminding us to be positive and thankful for the wonders of our world.Jdtonkinson, you did not give details not that we need to know... only perhaps looking for sympathy. Did she have the free available inoculations against covid? If so then the illness is usually not sever nor fatal, just flu like symptoms. We are responsible for doing our individual best to be healthy. Science has helped with vaccines eliminating Smallpox, and Polio etc... but people must take part.
I am 88 and keep my yearly shots up to date... free of charge... Sorry to sound harsh... if your mom is not focused enough then you should take her for the shots to the local drugstore or even supermarket with a drug counter.
We should all take a day and focus on the positives in our world as AzPicLady has. Old Song says it well:
You got to ac-cent-tchu-ate the positive
E-lim-i-nate the negative
And latch on to the affirmative
Don't mess with Mr. In-between
You got to spread joy up to the maximum
Bring gloom down to the minimum
Thanks. Wishing you and yours a Happy Thanksgiving also, Kathy.
Happy Thanksgiving! Kathy!

Urgent reminder, please don't forget to set your scales back fifteen pounds . . . .
So that you can have an extra slice (or Two) of that Costco Pumpkin Pie with Ice Cream and Whipped Cream, Yummy!!!!
Best Wishes,
