Help...
I am going to retire after Christmas and am having trouble making PayPal understand that I need to change from a Business account to a Personal account.
I need an account somewhere besides PayPal.
I have people waiting to pay for paintings, Christmas cards etc...and PayPal is not going to work for me now. In other words, I am in a pickle!!!! LOL! Please tell me what's good and what's not.
Can you create a new personal account and close the business account?

I guess I could. May be easier than setting up a new account elsewhere since I have been familiar with PayPal for many years. I can use a different email address but I'm wondering if it will come bac and tell me they already have an account with that bank account.

Possibly, not sure.
Usually the email flags as it mostly is a login ID.
I'l try that. If that doesn't work, maybe someone will suggest another option.

Seems like the best solution.

Accept Zelle payments?
I'll check that out. Thanks.
I use Square for my business. I don't know the rates off the top of my head. I do know they charge you a bit more if you don't have the credit card in your hand as is the case if you're dealing with your customer by phone or via email or other computer means.
Thanks Jimmy. My business is all done on line because most of my customers live all over the country.
Trying to change from a Business account to a Personal account has gotten it all messed up with PayPal.
Makes me wonder...if they can't get that straight, how can they keep your $ straight????
