This is a holiday week for many so this will be a "themed" challenge without an official host. The challenge is to share with us, your holiday table, your special traditional foods (and/or their preparation) and the special people who will be at the table with you. Our Canadian friends have already celebrated Thanksgiving, perhaps where you are, you have a different celebration. Post what you can, when you can.

I'm not stressing - no not me, Ha! My year to host. My table has heirlooms as well as silverware and place settings that were wedding gifts 53 years ago
Been on our table for years
My sous chef: mashed potatoes, squash, stuffing balls in one dish and more in the works
Soon neither the table nor plates will be empty - thankful for family to fill it up and food to fill us up

Very inviting and beautiful ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Last year it was really funny...both "Grampas" showed up in same pattern flannel shirts. And I'm also guessing many houses have a similar "after dinner" scene - no women snoozing because we are still cleaning up!

Hi Pat: I'd be interested in seeing a complete image of what's hanging above your fireplace. Oops...that may have been Judy's??
Funny...That's a photo that I had made into a painting...Interesting that you noticed that,EJ!
