Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive, Central Florida, USA.
Sylvias
Loc: North Yorkshire England
The rain stopped so we decided to visit the lake and do the 11 mile drive. Mainly birds to see and only three gators! The two shots are of the same gator, could it really be this length? I found the closeup amusing, to me it looked like a tiny chick was taking a ride.
The hawk shots are heavily cropped too far for my long lens, the one on the pole I changed to b/w just to show what it was!
Hope you enjoy.

camouflage on the gator is clever!!
Wonderful set, Sylvia. Great detail in the downloads. Loved seeing the gator traveling with his little salad buffet on his back.😊
Nice, you made some great photos there Sylvia! Are you planning to visit the Circle B Bar preserve in Lakeland because you are not far from there?
I enjoyed going on your drive!
