This uses an ICM image shot in the woods, duplicated and blurred and blended and masked and colour shifted, as the background. The lady was at a history festival and was pleased to pose when asked. She is also duplicated and blended using different Blend Modes in order to enhance the texture of her clothing. The hieroglyphics are my best attempt at saying 'The Girl Who Smiles Liken A Flower' (!) - apologies to anyone that understands Chinese writing. The frame is a thank-you to Veronica for reminding me that they can, sometimes, finish a picture off nicely - and to Fstop for putting me back on-track to make it. Any critique will be very welcome.

Great overall look as usual, and I'm seeing nothing that says "composite".

Super image! It all "works"! Colors are great, and the figure (the beautiful figure) work very well together! Hey, thanks for the complement! Frame finishes it well!

She was lovely Veronica, both outfit and her - and so was her boyfriend, in army uniform. He stepped aside as soon as I asked. What a gentleman! Of course, being one myself, I asked him to stand with her. He just didn’t fit my picture Thanks for your comments and help.

Thank you Stan. The colours are picked from the picture, expect you guessed that!

I think you are really getting good at taking ICM shots and making them compelling backgrounds for your composites. We can all learn from your experimentation. Thanks
Erich

I’m pleased it’s of interest Erich, I know you’ve ‘tinckled’ with it a few times. Some shots can stand out on their own of course - but you know me!
