Actually two events there pre-date me! Elvis Presley's BIRTH at 88 years ago would be a third. I do remember his death so I should not have referenced that before. The first celebrity death I remember at all was JFK. Then RFK and MLK in 1968. The ones that really affected me were Hendrix, Joplin, and Morrison. Much later the most upsetting was John Lennon 12/8/80.
