We left the UK on Tuesday in the rain and arrived at Orlando airport in the rain! It has been heavy rain every day since, looking forward to some sunshine soon.

We went to the Tick Tok Diner for breakfast this morning on US192 a very interesting place. As we were leaving I took some quick fun shots with my phone.

I thought the shot of the car bonnet being used as the check in desk was unusual.

Hey, Sylvia.

I'm glad you're back....a visit, I presume? I hope you have a great time while here.

Good shots. That Belushi-Ackroyd display just blows me away. I want one.

I live in Jacksonville. It's been raining up here for 3 or 4 days. We kind of look at the rain as payback and just-rewards, amid nature's feeble attempt to placate us after inflicting months of searing, record-setting heat upon us....and no rain.

Very nice, Sylvia. You have captured a classic '57 Chevy, a tribute to the Blues Brothers and an old Checker Cab. Looks like a fun place. I hope that your skies clear soon.

Reminiscent of the Blues Brothers movie Sylvia, great shots. Are you and Bob coming over to the Bradenton area on this trip?

Thank you for the warm welcome Tom and yes we are here for a month travelling around. In the UK when we have long spells of hot weather (not very often)we have hose pipe bans and other restrictions regarding the use of water. This last month we have had serious rain fall with floods up and down the country which is extreme for us. Fingers crossed looking at the forecast we are going to get some nice weather here soon.
Happy you enjoyed the post and thank you very much for your comments.

I would love to visit Yellowstone Dennis but I have a serious problems with altitude sickness even at 7,000 ft.I was hospitalised in Peru a few years ago. We have stayed at Bryce Canyon and I was not good there. I’m such a delicate person.
Thank you very much for your always kind comments happy to know you like them.

Thank you Sylvia for taking my post exactly as I meant it, a pretend surprise at you not coming to Idaho.

I have suffered altitude issues in the past when hunting at 9000 feet and higher. I can acclimate in a couple of days so it is doable for me. But the first couple of days give me the worst headache and vomiting I have had. Normally I just try to tough it out. I am sorry you experience it too.

Have a great stay in our country.

Dennis
